But behind every client session, there was a stack of admin that never got easier. CPD reflection in a spreadsheet. Supervision impact logged on paper. Session notes in one app, safeguarding records somewhere else. Professional records scattered across half a dozen places—none of them designed for how a counsellor actually works.

So Helen built one. PracticeKit started as a private place for the records surrounding her own work—structured enough to be useful, simple enough to keep current, and kept away from a vendor cloud database.
