Helen has worked as a counsellor for more than a decade in Staffordshire and Derbyshire, supporting people through anxiety, trauma, depression and other complex experiences.
Her professional work involves the responsibilities familiar to practitioners throughout the counselling professions: maintaining appropriate client records, reflecting in supervision, keeping skills and knowledge current, documenting concerns and protecting confidentiality.
Why she created PracticeKit
PracticeKit began as a response to fragmented administration. CPD activities might be kept in one spreadsheet, supervision somewhere else, and client or safeguarding records in separate systems that were never designed to work together.
Helen’s aim was to create one clear, private place for these professional records while keeping the practitioner—not the software—in control of professional decisions.
