A clearer view of your professional records
PracticeKit is designed around the records qualified counsellors, psychotherapists and therapists maintain around their work. It gives each record type a clear place without the operational weight of a full clinic-management platform.
Caseload organisation
Keep active, paused and completed work visible, with session history and safeguarding flags linked to the appropriate client.
Appropriate records
Create factual, relevant session records and keep the information associated with a client together.
Professional development
Plan and record CPD, reflect on learning and describe its impact on current or future practice.
Reflective supervision
Record regular supervision and capture examples of how it has influenced your work.
Designed around professional responsibilities
The BACP Ethical Framework commits members to working to professional standards, including keeping skills and knowledge up to date, reviewing work in supervision, and keeping accurate and appropriate records. PracticeKit provides practical record-keeping tools to support those responsibilities.
Important: PracticeKit supports administration and record keeping. It does not determine whether a practitioner is compliant, replace professional judgement, supervision or legal advice, or imply endorsement by BACP.
Keep related information connected
Each client record provides a consistent place for session dates, notes, attachments, attendance and concerns. CPD and supervision remain separate professional records, helping you retrieve the right information for reflection, review or export.
What PracticeKit deliberately leaves out
PracticeKit does not handle client bookings, payments, invoicing, telehealth or client messaging. It does not record or transcribe sessions, and it does not use AI to decide what belongs in your notes.
This focus keeps the app simple and practitioner-only. You can retain the diary, accounting and communication tools that already suit your practice while giving sensitive professional records a dedicated home.
Privacy by design
PracticeKit stores its working data on your iPad rather than a PracticeKit cloud service. App access is protected by Face ID, Touch ID or the device passcode, and optional backup exports are encrypted.
You remain responsible for choosing an appropriate device configuration, lawful basis, retention approach, privacy notice and working practices for your particular setting.
